Maintain a Healthy Weight

Excess body weight is associated with an increased risk of several cancers. Maintaining a healthy weight through balanced nutrition and regular physical activity can contribute to long-term cancer prevention.

Stay Physically Active

Regular physical activity helps maintain healthy body weight and is associated with a lower risk of several cancers. Aim for consistent movement throughout the week, including walking, cycling, swimming, or other activities you enjoy.

Follow a Healthy, Balanced Diet

A nutritious diet containing vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, and other minimally processed foods can support overall health. Limiting highly processed foods, excessive red meat, and foods high in added sugar and unhealthy fats is also advisable.

HPV and Hepatitis B Vaccination

Vaccination is an important cancer-prevention tool. HPV vaccination can reduce the risk of HPV-related cancers, while hepatitis B vaccination helps protect against chronic hepatitis B infection and consequently reduces the risk of liver cancer.

Follow Recommended Cancer Screening
